DriveWiser is a fuel efficiency program for the province of Nova Scotia, Canada. We help drivers get from point A to point B using the least amount of fuel possible- saving you money and reducing your CO2 emissions.
It is delivered by the environmental charity Clean Nova Scotia and funded by Conserve Nova Scotia, the energy efficiency agency for the province and Natural Resources Canada.
Meet the Drivewiser Team:
Spencer Fowlie- Part-time DriveWiser Program Officer
Spencer was born in Saskatchewan and grew up in Vancouver, Geneva and New York City until arriving in Halifax to put down roots and attend Dalhousie University. With a double major in Environmental Science and International Development Studies, his passion for learning about small scale agriculture production has taken him to Western Africa and Cuba. He first got involved with Clean Nova Scotia through an internship, where he helped design a study that aimed to determine the C02 and C0 emissions from drive-thrus in the Halifax Regional Municipality. Now he’s spending his time with CNS assisting Nova Scotians to reduce the impact their cars can have on the environment. He is a speedy biker, urban gardener and local foodie. You can catch him hanging around the Dartmouth or Halifax farmerss market on Saturday mornings.
