Idle-Free Campaign

Our Idle-Free campaign continues to be a success with over 100 participating partners across the province. Our Idle-Free signs are available free of charge, for businesses and institutions to install on the exterior of their buildings.  The signs are attractive and act as a positive reminder for people not to leave their engines running unnecessarily.

Take steps to reduce your idling time - drive your car to warm it up, turn off the engine while waiting to pick someone up from school or work, and whenever possible, try to avoid using drive-throughs. Reduced idling can save fuel and money.

If your business or organization has a need for one or more of these signs, please phone Therese Bombardier at 420.3475 or email tbombardier@clean.ns.ca.
